I'm on my fourth week and haven't noticed any difference. I'm wondering if it's worth the money to go into a second month.
I believe it is worth it. The literature states that if you haven't lost 5% of your body weight in 12 weeks at the FULL dose then this is probably not the medication for you. If you followed the dosing schedule then you have only been on a full dose for a week. There is another group on facebook. There are almost 2,000 members. There are many stories of people who feel nothing until the second or third month. I know that 4 pounds a month doesn't seem like a lot. But, think about it, in a year that is 48 pounds. And what is the other choice? remain the same or gain weight?
It wasn't until close to the third week till I really started to tell a difference in my cravings. I am/was a binge eater (binge eating 5-7 nights out of the week. The first two weeks I had the urge to binge a few times but now, going into month two, I have no desire to binge or over eat during meals. I call it my miracle drug. =) So stick with it! I know it can be expensive but I personally feel it is worth it. I have notice such a mental change toward food. I used to feel a need for food. If I could not get what i was craving I would get really agitated. But now it does not faze me one bit. I also am doing the recommended two pills in the morning and two at night.
