Part of the compound of Contrave is Naltrexone (Revia)... 8mg per tablet to be precise. But it also contains Bupropion (Wellbutrin). In theory (since both medications are viewed as potentially helpful for bulimia), this would be an excellent combination for this purpose.
However, the time release mechanism and the fact that the coating can break down quickly either from excessive acids or fatty foods, that may be a problem with the administration in this form. It may be better to do so with the drugs separately rather than in this form, but it might be worth discussing with your doctor.
