I had the implant inserted almost 2 months ago. Once it was inserted I never got my period. About a month after having it in I noticed an odor. It smelt kinda fishy and was followed by brown discharge. The smell stopped 2 weeks ago. But I've had the brown discharge for quite some time. Yesterday it came out bloody but very light kind of in a mucus when I first wiped but then through out the day it was brown. I have to put a tampon in because it gets all over my underwear. Should I be concerned? Is this normal?
With nexplanon everything is 'normal' except that it really isn't. The only normal thing I've heard about Nexplanon is that it is fantastic birth control that seems to generate horrible issues for about 95% of users. Some women have periods that last 18 months with daily bleeding (can you imagine a 500 day period?), while others can take years to conceive after the thing is removed. If I was a girl, I wouldn't touch the things with a burned stick.
Stephen is right.
