The only kind that doesn't give me a rash is $8 for a small bottle. Any way I can get insurance to cover this?
No idea sorry. Ask your doctor if you can get a prescription product, that'll be funded, next time you go to the doctor. All the best.
Have you checked the Neutragena(sp) products in the drugstore? My husband has psorasis, & has to use these products. They are pretty good for skin problems & I believe are fragrance free. I know they are a little more expensive than regular ones, but they do help...
Most insurance don't pay for otc cleansers. If there would be one that you have to get with a prescription, then they probably would. I would search the drug store shelves and read lables. I would bet there is more then one that is fragrance free.
Wondering if you also have a sulfa allergy, too. Most cleansing products have sulfites in them. And fragrance. I buy various store brands that are sulfate free and fragrance free. Once I changed to these, a lot of itching and flaking (hair products, especially) disappeared. Just a suggestion that may help.
