I've just returned from the doctors to check my blood pressure. These are my results: 147/76, pluse rate-sitting 59 bpm, respiration rate 20 per min., temp-oral 96.8. 69 inches tall, 192 lbs. don't smoke, drink alcohol or drugs of any kind. I donn't eat fried foods much either. My Caffine intake is about 55mg per day cup of Lipton tea. Symptomy is that I'm constantlly light headed, from the time I wake up through out the day. I'm not really dizzy, but I feel as though my head is floating. No head aches, really know major discomfort other than not the light headednest.
Your systolic blood pressure is slightly elevated (the "top" number) but your diastolic is good, your heart rate is good. There are a number of things that can cause light headedness or dizziness. Did your Dr do any blood tests? I dont see anything diagnostically important in what you have provided and there are just so many things that could cause you to be light headed. Are you on any medications? Do you notice a time when the symptoms are worse than others?
