I started on Yasmin as my first birth control pill. I started taking it on the first day of my period from the green section as the instructions specified, which happened to be a friday. This is the last day in the green section, i have had my period for the whole month, however i have read that this happens to alot of women. My question is that seeing as my period is continuing for the whole month when i reach the green section which will be a saturday do i just keep taking those pills or do i start a new blister pack? A bit confused on what to do.
Hi, if you want to try to stop your period you can skip then inactive pills thats the ones when your suppose to have a period but since you have been bleeding so much i would skip the inactive pills and start a new pack, I know a lot of women who do that myself included, and maybe you will stop bleeding then, but it will stop once your body adjust to the birth control, let me know if this helps
