Itake a lot of high blood presseure meds, and heartmeds. A police officer informed they were supposed to to be in the container they came in.I have a pill box like everyone else
One would think the cops have better things to do (like catch the thief who stole all my jewelry) but unfortunately it is easier for them to hassle people who arent doing anything wrong. Probably, anything that is controlled substances should be in original bottle. I know I keep a couple pain pills in a pill bottle on my keychain but if they really wanted to, the police could hassle you. I would fight it to the death since I have a script but it would make things easier to carry them in an original container with a label especially in this day and age when they are working so hard to reduce drug flow onto the streets (although they seem to want to start with the folks who get their medications legally-it truly makes no sense to me!)
That is a new one to me. Keep the bottles as the others have said. Laws are different in different parts of the world. In the USA all controlled substances need the bottle. Just take your prescription bottles with a statement from your pharmacy showing you purchase legally. A decent judge will be fine with this part should it come up.
The crack down is real and we are all getting new rules. Addiction is higher now than ever before. Age, economic status, car you drive, none of it matters any more because anyone may have a major addiction. Moms with kids, twelve year olds. I would rather carry some medication and know that I am fine if stopped but maybe they will find someone else and it would lead to their healing. Just my thought. Thanks for the information.
