my sister has red, goopy eyes and has been using polytrim eye drops but it seems to be coming back.. Would a gram of Rocephin help?

Thank you for all feedback... Back to the Dr in the AM to see about different drops. How do you know if it is bacterial or viral??
Rocephin (ceftriaxone) is a cephalosporin (SEF a low spor in) antibiotic. It works by fighting bacteria in your body. Rocephin is used to treat many kinds of bacterial infections, including severe or life-threatening forms such as meningitis. Rocephin may also be used for purposes not listed
So I would answer your question with a no.. Sounds to heavy.
