My TSH is currently .92 and I am on 75 mcg of synthroid. My OBGYN increased the dose to 100 mcg. MY TSH was 1.60 about 3 months and dropped to .92. I exercise a lot and still can not drop a pound and feel awful everyday. Is it ok to increase from 75 mcg to 100 mcg if my TSH level is .92 or is that too much Synthroid?
I think you need to see an endocrinologist, as my understanding is to get the peteturary gland to produce more tsh the dosage of synthroid (t4) is decreased not incease. It is my understanding, .5 is considered normal range. A tsh of .92 is in the normal range. Your dosage should have been lowered not increase.
