My son is 9 and complains of problems swallowing and I've noticed when he is off his meds he doesn't complain about it but today was the first time he's taken it in about two weeks and he's back complaining about having to force himself to swallow. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues. He's on 54mg and been there for a while now.
I really think you should report this to your doctor and also ask about some natural or alternative remedies. Stimulant drugs can have many side effects which is why I disagree with them being prescribed to children. I personally think boys simply grow out of their difficult behaviour with the right help and lots of love and patience. A healthy diet is also very important
