Having been diagnosed with AF around 7 years ago (I am presently 52) I was prescribed Flecanide as a 'pill in the pocket' however I started on it as 2 x 100 mg daily six months ago as my AF episodes changed. It has since controlled AF well, but I have recently become concerned about my memory, which of course may be completely unrelated although as I am 'relatively' young this has given rise to being a little worried (not been the Doctor as yet). I note memory loss as being an uncommon side effect of Flecanide in the accompanying literature (between 1:100 and 1:1000 I believe). Any views/thoughts similar concerns out there?
Anybody concerned about their memory since starting Flecanide regularly?

I'm a little older (65) and have been on 150mg x 2 for about 7 years. I noticed memory issues too. Mostly short term and mostly simple things like last names of people I'd only met briefly, recognizing new people the second time I met them, forgetting details in some conversations, and so on. It seems to have flattened out and seems to stay at a constant level however.
