This past Thursday (4/30/15) I had all of my upper teeth pulled and received my immediate denture the same day. I've followed all of my after care instructions and have been taking the prescribed antibiotics & Ibuprofen. After a day or two painful ulcers started coming up on my gums. I now have multiple large ulcers that are very painful when eating anything and espically when putting my dentures back in after cleaning & rinsing my mouth. I've made an appointment to see my dentist this Friday morning but I was just wondering if ulcers are a common problem with new dentures?
Is it common to get painful ulcers on your gums after getting upper teeth pulled and dentures?
