Will common cold medicine show up positive for methamphedamines?

Yes it can depending on what is in it. Urine tests are very unreliable.

Sometimes psuedoephedrine, a common decongestant and an ingredient in methamphetamine, will trigger a positive in a urine test but if they do a GC-MS test to confirm, that test will show that it is NOT methamphetamine but pseudoephedrine.
