Just got my bill and was wondering what this meant. Do labs normally test for thc this way or did I test positive and had to be confirmed because I haven't smoked pot in over 20 years!!!
When they do urine drug screens they typically test for thc. This is probably just the charge for the test. Your Dr should explain all the test results with you on your next visit. You can always call the billing dept for any billing explanations. A bill doesnt usually have any results on it. This probably means a gas chromatograph test was done on the urine for thc. Gas chromatograph is a very sensitive test that is sometimes used to confirm positive or negative results on a less sensitive test but this could also be the way this Dr always runs his tests. As I said above, he should explain all the test results on your next visit. Some Drs will not explain anything if the test confirmed what he expected to see, some only will talk about deviations from what he would normally expect, so if he doesnt mention anything about the test on your next visit then everything came up as he expected it to.
