Well, thats kind of a hard question to answer. A doctor or psychiatrist would tell you 'no, thats only used for anxiety'. However, if you have anxiety theres a strong chance that anxiety problems can be linked to depression, so theoretically, yes, you could use klonopin to lift depression if the depression stems from anxiety. Now no docotor will prescribe you klonopin as an antidepressant, and im not telling you that its a good idea to take klonopin for reasons other than it is it prescribed to you for. Antidepressant medication is what you should be put on if you are depressed.
