Clobetasol Proprionate-Is this good for scalp Folliculitis?

If the folliculitis is infected (pustules) then please don't use clobetasol on it. It might be a good idea to see your doctor.

There are many causes of folliculitis - with bacterial folliculitis being one of the more common.

Treatment needs to address the cause of the folliculitis. Bacterial scalp folliculitis is best treated with anti-bacterial agents.

Clobetasol will help make the scalp feel better short term and trick one into believing it is a good remedy. It is not a good option for most types of folliculitis

If you have folliculitis, be sure to see your physician for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
