Can clindamycin be used for treating tooth aches,teeth problems ?

It could be used to treat certain infections in the mouth or certain abscesses of the teeth (strep or staph) if the infectious organism was susceptible to clindamycin. It is usually reserved for penicillin allergic patients and it is usually not a first choice antibiotic.

If you have other options, stay away from it. It has very nasty side effects... I'm still recovering 6 months later after only taking for a few days. I've never experienced anything like it in my life.
