Some antibiotics are safe for use during pregnancy. Clindamycin is a pregnancy category B which means that they have not seen any bad effects during pregnancy but there are no conclusive studies on pregnant women to know for sure. Ask your Obstetrician. He/She should be able to tell you whether the risks outweigh the benefits or vice versa.
