What to expect if I have detoxed and then relapsed for a two day binge? I have been off of them for 6 weeks. I ran into an old prescription and took twenty 10mg Norcos over two days? I flushed the remaining 60.
I am with Rajive and want to congratulate you for making the decision to stop using again. I am afraid you will experience some withdrawals as you took quite a few in a two day period. If you find that you are experiencing them too strongly then google the Thomas Recipe and get some items listed to help with the RLS and diarrhea.
Best of luck to you,
Dear Getty... how long were u on the vicodin prior to the 6 wks abstinence?
I am asking bcz that could make a difference in whether u will have bad wd's from yur 2 day binge. If you were on them for many years prior to the 6 wk abstinence your brain may not had enough time to get rid of all those extra reproduced receptor sites. It may have been enough time in between but I doubt they all have reabsorbed by the body. Your wd's will most likely be shortened, maybe intense, but short lived. Do what dear Jilly has recommended and follow the Thomas recipe plan.
I also commend u for flushing the rest down the toilet. Good job.
Did something happen n your life to make u need to binge? You r at a very critical time n your recovery process--- meaning 6 wks-3 mos. is a common time period for relapse.
I also recommend that you get yourself in a relationship w/ an addiction therapist, and if possible, in a AA or NA meeting where u can find a sponsor to be able to call if u n times of weakness.
My prayers are with u and I wish u all the best. May God bless you and keep u. Sincerely,
Getty Up, people OD and suffer brain and kidney damage from the binge. I'm glad that you're well, you must have the constitution of a horse and be really lucky. You could've been left a real mess, in a coma.
I'm proud of you that you poured the others down the toilet. Don't beat yourself up about this, move forward in your life.
