How soon can the citalopram kick in?

Hello beechcroft. It will be close to a months time to feel the full, therapeutic effects of the Citalopram. Regards pledge

Hi I agree. It is usual to take 4 weeks/a month. When I started I was a mess for the first 3 weeks, at which point my doctor decided to increase my dose which improved the symptoms greatly. I know how tough it can be when starting on antidepressants but in the long run they can be so beneficial & change your life for the better
