... very long or live on his own. Are there any facilities that can care for him? He recently was found to be planning to take his own life. He is currently hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation. What can I do when he is released? He is 33 years old. Please help!
If I were him, I'd probably be really severely depressed too. Hopefully the psych' evaluation will lead him to be be put on some anti-depressant/s that will restore his interest in life. It is quite possible that, if medication is called for, when he is released he may be far better mentally.
All the time, doctors are working on ways to fix the previously unfixable; as an example, if I had been born just 5 years earlier, I would have died 3 or 4 years ago. But, I'm still here. If benzos or other medications had never been invented, I'd probably live in a padded room, but I don't.
Bless you for being a caring mom.
You need to stand by him. There are people Tha cipro has affected me being one of them. I can hardly walk my tendons and muscles hurt. My son is 54 and bi polar and I am there for him. That is being a mother to help them. Cipro is a strong drug they use it for anthrax. Hope it works out. Stay strong and god bless
