Cipro is usually only prescribed to adults; children only get it for postexposure to inhaled anthrax. The dosage for adults varies depending on what you're taking it for... uncomplicated urinary tract infection, severe urinary tract infection, respiratory infection, acute sinusitis, renal disease, or chronic diarrhea.
