Morning but I still have Pain is there something similar I could take without too many side affects
Lyrica never did anything for me. I do Cymbalta, which works slightly better, but the pain is still there.
The goal of pain management is not 100% relief. The goal of pain management is enough relief that you can function. Unfortunately, by the time you're at pain management and treating the symptoms instead of the cause, 100% relief is probably out of your grasp. :/
After Lyrica, I went to gabapentin (horrid side effects, but my twin sister is doing GREAT on it, so YMMV), and then to Cymbalta (which is doing more for depression than pain). I'd suggest just telling your doctor that Lyrica's not working out for you and seeing what they say.
