The only one I know of that helps me is Percocet but my doctor wouldn't prescribe ANY Narcs. I think she will now. They found a tumor in the base of my right lung. They discharged me saying the Cat Scan came out fine but I just got a letter saying the Radiologist found a Nodule in it. In case my doctor won't give me Percs, what would be other alternatives? (Aside from Hydrocodone and Tramadal.)
My doctor told me the same thing, he doesn't write pain scripts. There isn't anything below Percocet besides the other two plus Tylenol #3. Now they have a PA at the office who does write scripts, but she only writes scripts for the VERY min. Like 2 Vicodin a day or 3 tramadol a day.
I would goto a pulmonologist. Also doctors are kind of weird when you start naming pain meds. I usually just take what they give me and call back if it doesn't work.
