... both lungs, the last one three months ago. I now require oxygen at night and looks like I will need oxygen 24/7. Two questions. What is the best portable machine. I have the funds with or without Medicare and, does anyone know why I would experience an involuntary intake of air every ten minutes or so, like a strong gasp?
Of all the different types of oxygen concentrators I've worked with I like the Everflo one. Its lighter, smaller, quieter and doesn't throw off allot of heat. I have worked with some that threw so much heat we couldn't keep it in the room., and they are so noisy you can't talk to people over the noise.
The breathing is because your body is trying to get oxygen.
