As I got older the Fioricet stopped working so I started using Excedrin. At one point when I was working I would take 6-8 pills a day. I have had MRI's, scans, blood tests you name it. My doctor even discussed my file with several other doctors but nobody could figure out what is causing them. He put me on a drug called Topamax which I am still taking and it may be keeping the headaches from becoming severe. Then my doctor suggested Botox, so I tried it but after three sets of injections it wasn't working either. That doctor told me that my headaches had turned into mini migraines but I have had a migraine and these headaches are nothing like a migraine. It's just a constant throbbing all over my head all day long. Can anyone identify with what I am going through? I am 65 years old now and I have been suffering for 52 years and on top of that I have clinical depression. A note to all migraine sufferers: If you take Excedrin Migraine, compare it to Extra Strength Excedrin and you will find it to be the same thing. I called the company and asked them why they were misleading the consumers and they said because the FDA said we could. The products cost the same so I don't know what they are trying to prove.
