I see a pain management doctor every month. I think he has a hard time treating me because I'm allergic to Any NSAID. I'm not sure what medication is for me, he changed it a few times then put me on an ER medication. After that I started having really bad problems with my stomach. It hurt so bad I could hardly get out of bed. What do you recommend he should have me on? I just really need someone else's opinion , because I'm in so much pain and I can't get it under control. Thank you Rose
I would rather have you pursuing the cause of the pain, and possibly a cure rather than throw meds at it. Speaking as someone who has been in that cycle for many years, I found treating the symptom with meds doesn't lead to any form of cure, especially for a case like this where the pain is described as additional from the original reason for surgery. Plus, this is more than likely nerve generated and most pain meds are ineffective, or have little effect. Try to find a Dr who will delve into the cause, then go from there.
