Hi I am a survivor of almost 30 years of hepatitis c with cryugloulin Anemia which goes hand in hand usually... My doc says its time to start treatment even though liver seems stable ,My viral load is 6-8 million and have had it for long time so before i get much older i need to do this..Im scared to death! heard all horror stories of treatment and scred i may die from the treatment! Is there anyone that can shed some of their own experiences of treatment people that have completed it I am only 107 lbs.5'3 I am alos wondering being as small as I am if maybe just maybe i can get rid of it with lowerdosage or shorter period of time .Thank you
I'm in a similar situation.Just saw my hep doctor a couple weeks ago and had my vaccinations for A+ B.I've never had treatment and live in the U.SA... the latest form of pills for C ... I was told didn't hold up to what was hoped for.A new study is underway now and I'm waiting to see if I qualify.
My blood counts are fine and don't want, any treatment unless the benefits out way the risks.
My friend Jake just completed the six month chemo self injections. And now has six months to recover from.He did tell me the treatment was hard on his body.
If you didn't know spicy foods and substances like jalapeno peppers and peppery things have been shown in Lab results to do something to combat hepatitis... not f.d.a approved but if you look into you'll be surprised.
Wishing you and all in our situation the best of luck and health.
