... dental mouth wash. My dermatologist prescribed it for me to use on my ankle ulcer. Was this a mistake on her behalf?
Hi buckwaddell'''' YES when i was still working i did and also i found a off label use for being used on the skin Dermatologist use this often and even more so with diabetics due to how dangerous skin ulcers are on your legs and feet... this is a antibacteria and is also used prior to surgery etc you are 100% safe and don't worry about if your skin turns a bit yellow... wierd but yes lots of medication are used for things you can't find them listed for this kills germs fungis type bacteria..IF you are still worried call your doctor but i see no reason to worry the ulcers on the leg or feet are much more to worry about So follow your doctors orders and continue to use as he or she says no problems some of these ulcers on diabetics are very hard to clear up but it is used for just this...
