Can children take diphendryl?

Most commonly known as Benadryl, diphenhydramine is safe for children to use and comes in many children's preparations for colds, flu, and allergies. The dosage for children will, of course, be smaller than that for adults.

Yes, you can even give it to your dog, lol... Its a widely used antihistamine.

We have to give it to our dog in the summertime for some weird skin allergy from the grass or something. It works great for him, and as he's already a hyperactive dog (half shih-tzu, half besenji), the sedating effects aren't too noticeable, though welcome when they arise LOL!
