Can a child if 12 years of age suffering with petite mal seizures take concerta?

The info advises that it be used with caution in someone with a seizure history and they be watched. If it increases the seizures it should be stopped. I wouldn't give it without checking with the dr who treats the child for seizures.

It can increase seizures so it probably isnt advisable but each case by case basis is different. If the benefits outweigh the possible risks, they may do a trial to see if it increases the seizure activity.
