I just saw this new device called an e-cigarette. It's electronic, and my husband says it works. no side effects, just enough smoke to to relieve the urge. It even has a little that comes out your nose like real cigarettes. I was amazed. I suggest going to a local gas station or quickie mart and trying one for about $16.00. That's the one that lasts the equivalent of 30 or more cigarettes. Hope this helps. It's surely alot safer, with no health risks. And In my opinion great for those who are trying to quit!
Hi there! Congrats! I have two weeks left on Chantix. I was very recently where you are now. Just remember, you’re going to want to smoke. That’s the nature of the beast. It sucks. A lot. You just finished your first twenty four hours? For me the second twenty-four hours was really bad. Had really bad withdrawal so be prepared. I’m not going to lie and say I haven’t had a cigarette since January 20. I have smoked the couple times I went to a bar. But I have never given in to an urge because then I lose control. 2 Fridays ago I was CRAVING SO BAD. But I made it through and didn’t smoke. And you can too. Chantix is as close to a miracle drug us smokers are going to get. But it’s not a magic pill. Good luck!
