I started Trunessta on a Sunday on my period. I started with the white pill first and I have taken them once everyday. If i missed a day i doubled it the next. But unfortunatley its been over the 21 days and my period is still on. I have started taking the dark green pills now. The pack is almost gone. Should I continue to taking these birth control pills or should I get a different birth control method?
It sometimes takes several months for your body to get used to the hormones. It doesn't help that you're not taking the pills right. You should be taking them at the same time every day. Set a reminder on your phone if you have to. Just keep taking your pills no matter what your bleeding is doing. Once you start the pill it doesn't matter if you bleed or not, you still keep taking them. Try taking one every day and see if your bleeding straightens out. Every time you miss a pill you are increasing your chance of pregnancy too.
