Recently, I had sex with my partner and as we finished, we noticed that the condom had ripped. So we rushed to the store and bought a Plan B pill and took it less than an hour after the incident occurred. What are the chances that she could've gotten pregnant? The incident took place exactly one day before her period began.
If her periods are always regular & on time, then there was 0 chance she'd get pregnant a day before, & emergency contraception wasn't necessary.
If she has irregular periods, or doesn't get full periods (spotting etc) then best to use emergency contraception as there could still be a chance of pregnancy.
