What are the chances of getting pregnant two days before my period if I am currently on the pill form of birth control? I've been on it for over 4 years now and take it at 7:30 every morning. My boyfriend and I were having intercourse when he was a little slow on pulling out. We had intercourse last night (Saturday) and today (Sunday) I started my "sugar" pills, but my period doesn't normally start till Monday. I'm a little scared now as I still have a year left of college. I've never taken the Plan B before, do you think I will need to in this situation?
Hello, I would not fret because you stated that you are already taking the birth control pill, which even with the placebo (sugar pills) should keep you protected. You also mentioned that you take your birth control pills on both a consistent daily and timely basis which is even better for keeping your body running like clockwork in guarding against an unwanted pregnancy. I'd like to add that you have also been on the pill for 4 years with no pregnancies so far, so I would think it safe to assume that you will not become pregnant unless you stop taking your birth control pills.
