I recently started taking birth control pills. I've taken them how I'm supposed to. On the day I took my seventh pill, I had sex and the condom broke. It took me a few days to get plan b, so I ended up taking it roughly 68 hours after the accident. Is there a chance I could be pregnant or am I protected after that seventh pill? And will the plan b possibly delay my period?
Which birth control pill are you on? To the best of my knowledge you're usually covered after 7 days, & didn't need the Plan B. It is likely to mess your menstrual cycle up, & combined with the hormones in your regular birth control, you could find you have no period or irregular bleeding (possibly heavy) for a month or two. As every woman reacts differently, it's hard to say for sure.
