I recently switched from one brand of birth control to another. My doctor had me "overlap" I think is what you call it. Meaning, she told me to start the new pill the next day instead of finishing my old packet out. During that time I engaged in unprotected sexual intercourse. She never said I needed back up protection, but then I started thinking about it... was I just as protected during that time as I always am? Also, is it okay to have sex on the placebo pills without anything? I get nervous bc I haven't had a real period yet with these new pills..but then again, my mom takes the same one and never gets a period.
