Mental health drugs are generally used for those that have Chronic depression or anxiety, among other conditions, that will and has lasted longer than 6 months. Something like breaking up with your boyfriend is horrible, but it isn't anything a responsible doctor would or should give you something such as Celexa to help you get over it. If you're really having a tough time, perhaps a psychologist can help with talk therapy, but you don't jump into potentially dangerous medications unless your problem is long term and not situational, or something you'll get over.
