Hello soopergirl. No, not everyone goes through side effects and not always from the first dose. It might be several days before feeling any side effects. Some of the more prominent/major ones are (found in clinical studies) that nausea effected up to 21% of people. Insomnia 15% drowsiness 18% followed by drymouth 20%. These side effects most always ease up and then leave completely the longer that a person remains on Celexa. Regards, pledge
