Bone on bone 50 years old 225 pounds i dont believe i could do this trade after because i kneel 75 percent of the time and lift heavy objects
I think you're right to be concerned. I've had a total knee replacement, and though I've regained a complete range of motion in it, its extremely uncomfortable to kneel directly on it. I can't even imagine trying to use it to pound carpet under a baseboard. I can kneel if I have some kind of fairly thick padding under it, so perhaps you could work something out. As grim as this sounds I have to admit that they make improvements in knee replacements all the time and mine is about 5 yrs old now. So it's very possible that if they say you'll be able to return to your work, you will. I would be very sure to have a very frank conversation with your surgeon and your physical therapist too if that's possible. I wish you the very best of luck.
