You do not have to suffer through constant and sever pain. Dealing with chronic pain is quite complex, and it can be challenging. You are your best advocate, you have to keep pressing the issue with your doctor until you are satisfied. If you keep insisting, Kaiser will escalate your case and they will help you.
You need to think of your pain as a separate issue from the carpal tunnel issue. I know it sounds counter intuitive but you will soon find that one line of specialist will be working your carpal tunnel problem but entirely different line of specialist should be working with you on managing your pain (regardless of its origin- pain is pain and it must be managed correctly). Keep strong and keep at it, even though with pain, being strong sometimes seem as very tough to do, you have to fight for yourself. Do not give up, Kaiser has very good professionals once your case gets escalated to those specialists, you might be pleasantly surprised.
I actually asked a question about Carpal Tunnel a few weeks ago, actually, I tried to ask the same question 3 times , and for some reason the question wasn't posted. I am actually trying to find out that the symptoms of Carpal Tunnel are because I am having problems with both of my hands and wrists, especially in my left hand, (I am left handed if that has anything to do with it). But, I couldn't get my question posted., so if anyone here who has this can tell me the symptoms and what I should do about it I would appreciate it. Sorry, Belllistic, I didn't mean to take away from your question.
