I take Clonazepam, I was wondering if Carcidopa levodopa is in the same family? does it work the same as Clonazepam?
They do not belong to the same drug class.
Clonazepam is used in the treatment of panic disorder; bipolar disorder; periodic limb movement disorder; seizure prevention; sleep paralysis (and more), and belongs to the drug classes benzodiazepine anticonvulsants, benzodiazepines.
Carbidopa/levodopa is used in the treatment of parkinson's disease; neuroleptic malignant syndrome; restless legs syndrome; gtp-ch deficiency and belongs to the drug class dopaminergic antiparkinsonism agents.
