Been taking many diffrent pain med's for about 8years and have tried quiting a few times this time I know I need a lil more help and would like to try suboxone but can't find a doctor near that will help? Live near eau claire wi, 54703! If any1 knows of how to find a doctor that will help around me please let me know! Thanks
Have you tried looking for an "Addiction Specialist" in your area. That is the name they go by where I live. They monitor you every 30 days and as long as you keep your appointments and take the medication as perscribed, you will do just fine. There is hope beyond taking different types of pain meds. I have been there myself. Suboxone has really saved my life! I am now on the lowest dose and have no cravings. It is a life saver! I wish you all the best. Hope you can find an MD like an Addiction Specialist in your area. Try to "google" your area/surrounding areas or as far as you are willing to drive for one of these specialists. They can help you gain a better quality of life without being a "slave" to those pain medications. If you cannot find one of these MD's in your area, have you considered rehab? I know, I know, that is a difficult consideration, but if you really want to be free from pain meds sometimes this is the best answer.
Trying to quit yourself is very dangerous. Just know you are not alone. Only you know the best choice for you. Wishing you all the best! - ironmaidn
