I am a type 1 diabetic, and I'm in a financial bind. If I were to stop visiting the diabetes clinic I go to (due to expenses) will my insulin, etc, prescription be terminated?
As long as you have refills on the prescription you will be able to get it. Once the refills are gone you'll need new ones. You need to look for help with your medical expenses. Most clinics will charge according to income and the manufacturers of the insulin have assistance programs. I don't know how anyone can afford the insulin prices today. Its outrageous.
