How long were you talking it before you started noticing the diffrence?
It depends on the person. I was personally put on Clonazepam when I was a teen and found it didn't do much. It did help me sleep however and that was immediate. I took 2 mg a day. 1mg 2x daily for anxiety which must have helped or otherwise I don't think I would have kept on taking it for as long as I did. Give it time. If it doesn't work try something else. I don't know if your using it just for sleeping or for anxiety. if you're using it for anxiety and it doesn't work try something else like Xanax. If your taking it for sleep try something else like Ambien. I hope this helps. Have a happy Holiday.
