I have a prescription from 2007 of suboxone tablets and was wondering if it was safe to still take them even now, four years later?
Since suboxone is dissolved under the tongue, it is not coated with anything to protect it and you will find it has likely lost its strength. Several members from my subs group complained that subs seemed to lose its strength if it was exposed for any length of time. There are a few meds that are dangerous if you take them past their expiration date, acetaminophen is an example so I recommend you to NOT take this expired suboxone.
