Can you take morphine sulfate IR 30mg tablet and morphine ER 60mg and the same time?

As long as it is precribe that way, if you aren't tolerant to morphine then you can run the risk of respiratory failure... Dave

Not a good idea.
The morphine ER 60mg is designed to be a slow release medication that will give you relief over 12 hours. You can only take one every 12 hours.
If you hurt before the 12 hours are up, you can take the morphine IR 30mg
for what is known as "break through" pain as often as every 4 to 6 hours.
