Can we use gliclazide in a patient that has DM and CHF?

I have seen sulfonylureas used in diabetes patient's with CHF but there is a caution with it's use in patient's with congestive heart failure.

Please discuss this with your doctor. The link below gives more information about the contraindication of using gliclazide in cardiovascular disease. I have used another sulfonylurea (glipizide) as an example as gliclazide is not available in United States and isn't on this database.
