I MEAN GIVING IBUPROFEN AS ANAGESIC???
NSAIDs such as ibuprofen should be used cautiously with those who suffer from hypertension.
NSAIDs cause dose-related increases in sodium and water retention. This effect on the kidneys causes an increase in blood pressure.
Hence all NSAIDs should be used cautiously and at the lowest dose possible.
It may be safer to use acetaminophen or aspirin for analgesia.
