Can voltaren be used by diagnoed rhuematoid arthritis?

"Voltaren Topical Gel is used to treat joint pain in the hands, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, or feet caused by osteoarthritis. This medication may not be effective in treating arthritis pain elsewhere in the body."

Lots of info but it doesn't specify rheumatoid, just arthritis. I know people who use it without any compaints. Hope that helps.
